Air-Gapped by Design

Vaulted Mirror is a physically isolated system. It is not connected to the internet. It does not transmit data. It cannot be accessed remotely.

This is not a privacy feature. It is the architecture.

What This Website Collects

This website (thevaultedmirror.com) exists solely to provide information about Vaulted Mirror and to facilitate invitation acceptance. It is separate from the Vaulted Mirror system itself.

On this website, we may collect:

  • Invitation codes submitted for verification
  • Contact form submissions
  • Standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser information)

What Vaulted Mirror Collects

The Vaulted Mirror system operates on a dedicated, offline device delivered to you.

On that device:

  • All data remains physically on the device
  • Nothing is transmitted externally
  • No cloud synchronization occurs
  • No external parties can access your data
  • We cannot access your data

Your entries, decisions, and patterns exist only on your device. When you possess the device, you possess all the data. When the device is destroyed, the data is destroyed.

Encryption

All data stored on the Vaulted Mirror device is encrypted at rest. The encryption key is derived from your passphrase.

  • Without your passphrase, the data is unreadable
  • We do not have your passphrase
  • We cannot recover your passphrase
  • We cannot decrypt your data

If you forget your passphrase, your data is permanently inaccessible. Physical possession of the device without the passphrase yields nothing readable.

This encryption exists in addition to the air-gapped architecture. Even if the device were physically compromised, the data remains protected without the passphrase.

No Data Sharing

We do not have access to your Vaulted Mirror data. We cannot share what we do not possess.

Information collected through this website (contact submissions, invitation verifications) is used solely for administering access to Vaulted Mirror and will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Responsibility

The air-gapped, encrypted design means you are solely responsible for:

  • Physical security of the device
  • Remembering your passphrase
  • Backup and preservation of your data (if desired)
  • Destruction of the device when no longer needed

We cannot recover lost data. We cannot recover forgotten passphrases. We cannot remotely wipe the device. These limitations are intentional.
